1) Overview

SmartCargo is a flight-search and cargo-planning experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2) Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Search inputs you provide (for example: origin, destination, date, stop preference).
• Technical request metadata (for example: IP-derived rate-limit keys, browser type, timestamps) used for security and reliability.
• Operational logs and error events used to monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Return flight-search results and cargo-related UI details.
• Protect the service from abuse (rate limiting, security checks).
• Improve reliability, diagnostics, and user experience.

4) Cookies and Local Storage

SmartCargo uses browser local storage for caching recent flight results to improve performance and reduce repeated API calls. Flight-cache entries expire after six hours and are limited in number and size. You can clear this data in your browser settings.

The Google advertising script is not loaded unless you choose Accept advertising. If accepted, Google AdSense may use cookies, local storage, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies and may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, page URL, ad interactions, and consent state according to Google's policies.

5) Third-Party Data Providers

Flight information may be retrieved from external data providers. Your search request parameters are sent to these providers through SmartCargo backend services as needed to fulfill your request.

SmartCargo may request airline-logo images from Kiwi.com's image service. Loading those images can disclose standard network metadata, such as your IP address, browser user agent, and the SmartCargo site origin, to that image host. SmartCargo also loads Google AdSense resources from Google advertising domains when advertising is enabled.

SmartCargo may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-view and real-user performance measurements. Cloudflare states that this service collects the minimum timing information needed to report website performance and does not track individual visitors across customer sites. This analytics beacon is separate from Google advertising and does not change your advertising-consent choice.

6) Data Retention

We retain operational data only as long as necessary for service delivery, security, legal compliance, and troubleshooting.

7) Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited technical and request data with infrastructure and flight-data providers strictly to operate the service.

8) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

9) International Users

Your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate infrastructure.

10) Your Choices

You can stop using the service at any time, clear SmartCargo local storage through your browser settings, block third-party cookies or resources using browser controls, and open Privacy choices on any SmartCargo policy page to reject or withdraw advertising consent. Core flight search remains available when advertising is rejected.

11) Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version with a new date.
